Seeking Canadian Film

I think this movie was filmed in Canada.It is about two girls who are attending a private high school and boarding there. They have a homosexual affair,but one is discovered by her sister. She breaks off her relationship with her homosexual lover and meets several local boys. Her broken hearted girlfriend goes to extremes to prove her love. 2000-2003 release. Can you assist me?
