As great as Brando was I think Dinero was better. Watching him change and mature was fascinating and he was so powerful.

The first 2 are amazing but i'd go with 1, mainly because i enjoyed just about every scene in the film, while i didn't enjoy certain parts i 2.

I think GF 3 gets a bad reputation because most people compare it too the first 2 when there's not many movies that can be compared to part 1 and 2 and come out looking good. I personally still love part 3 it made my 90s list aand i think it may have been on my top 100 as well.

It's sad what's happened to FFC since the 70s, the only movies of his since then that i've enjoyed are GF3,Dracula and The Outsiders.

frankly, and this is just my take.. it's damn hard to make big-time hits. someone makes a movie like the first Godfather or the first Star Wars, and people expect them to match those heights over and over...

but especially when you consider how when someone makes a movie that's so successful, and makes them so rich... what's the point of trying to outdo yourself over and over? if you earned yourself a comfortable lifestyle by making a massive hit, why force it? these guys don't owe anyone anything

Sorry, guys, but Godfather 2 is the superior film by a decent margin.

I still have no urge to see Godfather Part 3. I love parts 1 and 2, I just dont want to see Part 3 at all. Should I?
