Best Gift for a Movie Geek?

Tools

What do you guys think is the ultimate gift for a movie geek?

One that's interested in Sci-Fi, Star Wars, The Matrix, and similar genres.

Curious what your ideas might be for the ultimate movie lovers gift

Charlie Chan complete series!

LOTR isn't sci-fi but there's a boxset containing all 3 extended editions of the films with a total of 12 discs that I reckon would go down well with any film lover.

I think anyone with sci-fi tastes though would like the Star Wars franchise... there's a few different one out there, but shop for the unedited original trilogy mixed with the edited original trilogy... and the prequel trilogy as well to complete the set.

Should cost around £100 altogether.

Thanks guys!

I like the poster and box set idea

Hum, science fiction fan? I liked science fiction movies but when I discovered Miyazaki's work I loved it. Nausicaa (http://www.amazon.com/Nausica%C3%A4-...words=nausicaa) is pretty much the best epic genre movie ever made.

Foxconnect.com is getting ready to release three exclusive editions of a few sci-fi classics for Comic Con, which includes The Fly, Planet of The Apes, and The Day The Earth Stood Still (all the originals.)

They also have a line focused on films with cult followings (Donnie Darko, Fight Club, The Boondock Saints,) and horror films (Child's Play, Carrie, The Silence Of The Lambs.)

I don't know if they have any exclusive con features, they might be just the standard blu ray releases with a new slip cover, but damn, they're cool slip covers! And I could definitely see them going up in price later on, considering it's going to be a very limited run.

I'm not old, you're just 12.
Personally, I enjoy getting cinema gift cards. Going to a film is expensive, and I cannot always afford to. Or i second the Netflix idea. That was a gift i got two Christmasses ago, and it still entertains me to this day. (They have every Star Trek series on there, plus since the new deal with Disney, they are getting all the Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm movies as well.)
