Come Back To The 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean is the only '82 film I have on DVD.
I also like Tootsie, and The King Of Comedy is still on my to-watch list.

The Guy Who Sees Movies
Best is a big word, but, right off the top of my head, ones I remember liking would include a lot of the above.

Special mention definitely goes to Blade Runner, ET, Fitzcarraldo, The Thing, Ghandi, Poltergeist, and Koyaanisquatsi, and Fanny and Alexander.

It reminded me that I need to pull out the disk and watch The Thing.

My personal Top 5...

1. The Thing (Carpenter)
2. Blade Runner (R. Scott)
3. First Blood (Kotcheff)
4. Fitzcarraldo (Herzog)
5. Fast Times at Ridgemont High (Heckerling)
