Skyfall (upcoming James Bond film)

Just saw the trailer for this last night. Thought it looked alright. Most of the Bond flicks I really enjoy, probably why I've collected almost all of them back to the beginning.

Oh my God, yes.

We've gone on holiday by mistake
I think the main problem with Quontam is that they spent so much time and effort trying to mimic Bourne, even hiring stunt co ordinator Dan Bradley, that they simply forgot to make a coherant story, like a Kung Fu film with no time put into the scenes between the action.

I walked out the Cinema after seeing Quontam feeling like I had wasted 2 hours of my life. It will be the only Bond film that I NEVER bother to see twice or more.

Yes Die another Day was equally if not more shite than Quontam.

The only actor who was better than Daniel Craig as James Bond, it was Sean Connery.

I'm not old, you're just 12.
I'll see it no doubt, but I hope it brings the fun of the old Bond films back. I've been rewatching them recently, and the best ones managed to have a dry sense of humor to go with the serious plots. Casino Royale was great, but it seemed like more Bourne than Bond. I would like the hedonistic, snarky, womanizing Bond back, thank you.

womanizing Bond back, thank you.
The problem with that, they may alienate female viewers (womens lib and all that)

Just watched the trailer and its too good. I think the movie will be good to watch

The trailor does look really awesome, dialogue looks like it might be abysmal mind. Fingers cross Mendes can do his usual brilliant stuff.

Skyfall: James Bond’s new Q revealed
Here's the first official look at 007's new Quartermaster, played by the talented Ben Whishaw.

The character is back on the big screen after 10 years. We previously saw Q in 'Die Another Day', but the character was absent from Daniel Craig's last two Bond films, 'Casino Royale' and 'Quantum of Solace'.

31-year-old Whishaw is no Desmond Llewelyn (then again nobody is), but we're excited to see the new, much younger incarnation of legendary gadget master Q in 'Skyfall'.

There's not a lot to be said of the picture itself other than Q doesn't seem to be paying Bond much attention. The character has always been more excited about his gadgets.

Whishaw is best known for his starring role in last year's BBC drama 'The Hour', and was most recently seen in a television adaptation of William Shakespeare's 'Richard II', in which he played the lead.

His film career has seen him take roles alongside Craig in 2004's 'Layer Cake', as well as parts in 'Perfume: The Story of Murder' and Bob Dylan biopic 'I'm Not There'. He will be seen later this year in Tom Hanks flick 'Cloud Atlas'.

Craig returns as Bond with 'American Beauty' director Sam Mendes behind the camera for 'Skyfall'. It is released on 26 October 2012.

wonder why they took 4 years

That film looks all kinds of badass. I seriously hope they continue the realistic, souce material-inspired path Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace turned into. To be honest, I already don't like the sound of a palm-print coded gun. I'd also like to see them further develop the Quantum storyline.

And Craig is a stud.
