Wow. I have learned to not underestimate The Joker... first he beats Vader, now he's beating Hannibal.

Hannibal Lecter has a more human side to him than The Joker. In later movies and books, while he still can be quite nasty, he has motives and reasons for killing the people he does - often he kills those who deserve it, except when he's trying to get away from something - then he'll kill who's in his path to keep him from being free. He's a romantic figure. The Joker isn't - and Heath Ledger played the Joker very nastily. He's chaotic, unpredictable and cares for nothing.

Something tells me he's gonna win the whole tournament.

I don't see him winning it. I see that stupid computer winning the tournament, unfortunately, just because it happens to be from a more classic movie.

I'm fine with anyone but Landa winning it. The other three are all among my top 10 favorite movie villains:

I don't get why people hate Nurse Ratched so much. I mean, I remember not liking her for some reason during the movie, but I didn't think she came across as nasty and villainous as most people say she is. Louise Fletcher just doesn't come across as very nasty -- she always seemed like she was just doing her job. She seemed okay to me.



Now, fatter and older Louise Fletcher looks like she wants to swallow your soul, but that's for a different movie and a new character.

But she was such a b**** in that movie, yet not in a cackling Snidely Whiplash way. There was a subtlety to her b****iness. There are few villains who I absolutely despised more while watching a movie.

But she's a nurse. It's not like she kills people. It's not like she's Joker Nurse.

But she does lobotomize people! Who aren't even insane at all, just people who cause trouble for her. She may not be the most abhorrently evil villain, but she's certainly one of the most interesting, well acted, and well written ones.
