Saw VII

I have to say I am a fan of the Saw series but I think they are milking it far to much

I havent seen VI yet so I better get on that when it comes out to buy.

I would definitly have to say your right... They have just made soooooo many holes in the story line that it had to take the 7 movies to complete the series...

Still ghey IMO. Such an unsavory set of films.

I don't even know what to say, I was all ready to type up a diatribe on the series, but in the end I decided, much like this series, it just wasn't worth it.

I am looking forward to the final film of the Saw franchise. I've been a big fan of the series mainly because it's a great break from all the recent horror remakes and flops. Still, I'm glad it's ending. The franchise had a good run, but it's almost ready to crash and burn.

James Wan & Darren Lynn Bousman have done great with the films and I expect to see more from them in the future. Also Kevin Greutert did fine with VI and I expect the same with VII. David Hackl should stick to production design because he's not that good of a director (Saw V).

Saw VII will also answer the biggest question I've been asking: What happened to Lawrence Gordon?

Overall, I expect a solid Saw film and a finale for horror fans alike.

I must comment on this thread. I am a horror lover and typically if it's a horror film I will give it a shot. I feel that the SAW series is just such bad film in so many ways. The dialog alone is so bland and hard to sit through. It is so predictable and tasteless. I have watched almost all of them and yes there are some great gore and torture scenes but, mostly just "bore gore".

There is nothing left to really cover in these movies and yet they still are coming out. There have been many new horror films out that are pretty good. If you want some good gore films maybe try Texas Chain Saw Massacre, House of a Thousand Corpses, Strangers, Wrong Turn, Hellraiser, Last House On the Left, and I hear that The Collector is good and it came out recently.

That is if gore is your poison. There is a abundance of super horror films out there you just got to do your homework and use your resources. Again I'm no film critic but, I know what I like and go with it....I also am up for new things and keep an open mind.

On a side note from the topic at hand, let me know what you think when you see it, I did not care for the ending.

Ah okay I got a mixed review on it but, over all heard it was really good. It has a lot of crazy gore in it.

I will let you know my opinion after I watch it Von

You didn't ask me but I saw The Collector some time ago and it was awesome... Except the ending. I didn't like it at all and in my opinion it somehow ruined the whole movie.. :/

And now back to topic. I have mixed feelings about this upcoming Saw VII. I did like the first three Saw movies and the next three were decent. As many people have said, the plot is just too messed up and they are just trying to make as much money as they possibly could. For me Tobin Bell was a big reason why I liked Saw movies so much. He's a great choice to play that role! Well I hope that the 3D version will bring something new to Saw movies, I'll go and watch it anyway.
