What's the one movie you wish you would have seen at the theatre but didnt get to?

For me I think it would be Fast and the Furious or Gone in 60 Seconds. definatelyhaving to have surround sound...

I saw Gone in 60 Seconds in the theater, and at home, and you're right: the sound made that flick in many ways. Much better in the theater.

Anyhoo, there aren't too many I wish I'd seen in the theaters...The Sixth Sense is one of them, however. That and There's Something About Mary. The former for obvious reasons. The latter because I'd love to hear a packed house laughing madly at it.

Now With Moveable Parts
I saw both of those in the theater. Sixth Sense was so chilling...I can't even describe it. I was about all the way sunken down in my seat towards the middle of the film.

There's Something About Mary was sorta annoying...you couldn't hear all the following lines after a big laugh, because people were going insane.

I missed Black Hawk Down in the theater.

The Future Ed Wood
i wish i coudl have seen the original star wars trilogy at the cinema aswell as the back to the future trilogy. also i wish i had seen saving private ryan aswell but i coudlnt get in coz i was too young!

I'm grateful for seeing some of the modern classics in the theater, like:

The Star Wars Trilogy
E.T. (first run)
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Raiders of the Lost Arc
and of course...
The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas

I've got a splitting headache
LordSlayton, did you wish you seen The Thing in the theatre, or are you saying you did see it in a theatre?

I've seen The Thing in the theatre, and when I did, I had to get up and go out in lobby and check out some of the video games because I was so freaked out by the gore in that movie. Ironically, that is my favorite movie now that I'm an adult. Hey, I've seen all the movies that you did in the theatre too LordSlayton.

It`s well up in my top 10 now.

Others nominees:
`Aliens`
`The Terminator`
`The Exorcist`
`Leon`
`2001-A Space Odessey`
