Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain
Speaking of BTO ... well, of Canadian groups of that period. To my admittedly non-discerning ear, it's not hard to feel Native American rhythms in songs by the Guess Who, in many of their hits but others like "Running Back to Saskatoon." But I get the same vibe from BTO at times, especially in "Not Fragile". I've tried to locate anyone who's written on this ... unsuccessfully. Anyone feel the same? Here it is. That plaintive cry at the end ... chilling.
