Season 6, Ep 8. To paraphrase Sally Field in Steel Magnolias, I wouldn't even know how to go abut making gray icing. "It's unhealthy food but the good new it's prepared badly." Who is Jackie to be making fun of Darlene's job. "Haven't you heard, sitting is the new cancer." "So you're going to own before it is mold in the shape of a house?" "Passing down toilet knowledge? I'm getting emotional." Curious as to how Dan got strangers to attend his toilet class. Loved Marge the food service lady, she reminded me of Kay Medford. A lot of people don't know I'm here, I don't get a lot of information." Why would getting a promotion affect Mark's tuition break? That makes no sense. Enough of Ashley, thanks. So it looks like Darlene has free reign to run the cafeteria to me, but for some reason, she doesn't want to. I can't believe Harris didn't give Darlene the grief I was expecting. "I don't remember eating these fries and that's not like me." Louis really really loves Dan. Could Jackie have taken any longer to offer to help Harris?
The Conners
Season 6, Ep 9. Those cheeseballs are the first thing I've seen on this show for the longest time that made me think of Roseanne. "Coming up with good excuses for sucking is the hardest part of being sober." I thought Ben's store was doing OK. Jackie seems to be slipping into Bev mode again. "I guess what I'm trying to say is that there's nothing that we can't male worse." Harris is hiding something. Becky and Jackie trying to help Harris is the blind leading the blind, case closed. What am I missing? why can't Becky study in the same room where her daughter is sleeping? "Like when you call Ben your big bad wolf and you have him blow your house down." I understand Dan wanting to help Darlene, but he has to remember who Darlene is and know that if she needs help. she'll ask for it. Loved Darlene all hyped up on caffeine. "This wasn't working before that image." Cannot believe Darlene taking relationship advice from Becky. "Yellowstone...it never ends." I feel for Darlene, but she's being really selfish with Dan and Louise. This episode was really funny.

Season 6 Ep 10. "Wow, Sis, burger queen and janitor, who knew we would be living out our dreams?" "The last time you wrote something was wash me on a dirty car window." Dan writing an article is definitely going to spark something between Dan and Ben that's not going to be pretty." Ben and Darlene reading Dan's article was hysterical. Maybe the magazine didn't know that Ben had writing experience. "There was a four horse accident at Hawthorne's and we only have three tranquilizers." Liked that Louise was upfront about not wanting to work with Jackie. Jackie and this life coach thing is played out, when is someone going to tell Jackie what crap that is? Jackie came off as such an idiot at that meeting. Ben really wants to piss off Dan, "Where is the petty and vindictive Darlene I fell in love with?" Loved Neville's advice to Jackie, but talking to Jackie these days is like talking to a brick wall. Thrilled that Ben got offered a monthly article and LOVE the way it happened.

I went to two different websites to watch Ep 11 and they wouldn't work. Life's too short so I'm moving on to ep 12. How awesome to see Dan pay his house off. The dialogue in the opening scene was a little above the Conner pay grade. "I'm going to get you cash and I'm going to get someone else to bring it back to you." OK, how are we going to get Mark into the University of Chicago? The University of Chicago is a top 12 school? "Did I do something with my face that looked like an invite?" Jackie and Dan flying to New Orleans together? Haven't we been down this road before? I hate that what Dan did with that guy may have gotten him in some serious trouble. "And we had to fold him up like an origami swan just to get him in the back of the car." Ames over played his drunk scene a little, but he seemed to be really enjoying himself. "Punching this guy in the face is my decision. Loved the Good Will Hunting reference.

The girl in the pink jacket on her phone in the airplane scene was Glenn’s niece.

Season Six, Ep 13. What makes Becky think she's any kind of expert in women's issues? Can't believe this is the first episode where Ames McNamara's shooting up in height was addressed. "I want to know what it's like to smoke weed in the comfort of my own home." "Don't you have a gothic perch to sit on somewhere?" Mark working for a repo company? No good can come of that. I can't believe Jackie invited herself to accompany Mark and Dan. Did Harris actually think Darlene was gong to co-sign for an apartment for her. Did Harris really pull the "Mom always liked you best" routine? It's official, they've turned Jackie into a bigger idiot than Becky. "If it ambulance comes to the house, don't ask, just get in." Is Mark ever going to catch a break? I feel bad for him. When did the hardware store burn down? Why do I have a feeling that Mark's move into hacking is going to land him in jail? Is Jay R Ferguson gone? Darlene feeling deserted is definitely a new concept for her. "Mom just gave me a hug and told me she loved me? Be careful." From what I understand, this was the season finale and the show is scheduled to return for a seventh and final season.

I hated how Darlene threw a jab at Becky and Mark’s marriage. Becky and Mark dated for two years before they eloped. And Becky knew mark through and through.
She hardly knows Tyler and just likes him because he nice that is the only thing Tyler has going for him, nice.

Not to mention the fact that Lecy Goranson and Sean Astin don't have a shred of chemistry.
always like seeing this thread pop up. means i got a new episode waiting for me when i get home.

The seventh and final season opener. Mark looks like a giant he really needs to stop growing. Suing Big Pharma regarding Roseanne’s death seems like a really edgy way for this show to go out . “You’re just stringing together words you don’t understand.” Hate Ben clean shaven. Seems like the writers still haven’t figured out that Lecy and Sean Astin have no chemistry. “Why not try brushing your hair? Or women’s underwear!” Can’t believe Dan doesn’t realize how uncomfortable this is for Louise. Becky getting a masters? Seriously? I’m getting the feeling they’ve already fired Astin but haven’t addressed it onscreen yet. Jackie becoming a cop a gain is a dumb idea. That scene in the bar with the female cop was funny. They seem to be trying to break up Ben and Darlene which would be a huge mistake. “It’s like watching a foreign romance movie with regular looking people.” Didn’t realize it until she said it, but Darlene has never really had friends. Guess they haven’t fired Astin yet. What Mark is doing is really none of Jackie’s business. “Jackie you’re a two beer relative and I’ve only had one.” I just realized this storyline is basically what Kathy Bates is doing on Matlock.

I don't know if you realized it, but the actress who played the cop that Jackie was talking to was Laurie Metcalf's real-life daughter Zoe Perry.
In "The Big Bang Theory", Laurie Metcalf played Sheldon's mother, and in the spinoff series "Young Sheldon", her daughter Zoe Perry plays Sheldon's mother.

Season 7. Ep 2. Okay, the fact that they are going back to the reality show episode from last season makes it clear that the writers are running out of ideas and it's time for this show to wrap. What has been the point of making Jackie bonkers the last two seasons? Her craziness is really grating on the nerves. Hopefully, Tyler (Sean Astin) being in New York is the beginning of the character being written off the show. So pleased to see the always watchable Jane Lynch as a guest star. "I wish I could have gotten you more for that, but you weren't paralyzed." "I'd love to, but I have to blow into my ignition to start my car." Love Beverly Rose busting her mother. "Please don't mention me or the lunchbox or America, we're all embarrassed for you." Love Darlene assuming that special dinner setup was for her from Ben, that is so not Ben's style. Why are they pulling Ben and Darlene apart? "It's the best place I could hide with pie." Why is the case only a slam dunk if Dan sues? That thing with the couple wanting to be photographed was stupid except that it introduced Seth Green...I love Seth Green! "There's something about people being happy in public...it's just wrong." Sara and Seth were great together, there's potential chemistry there. I'm really troubled by Becky, Darlene, and Jackie pressuring Dan. I'm still a little frightening about where this going. The idea of this series going out on such a dark note is not what I imagined.

Season Seven, Ep 3. “When you go online and search bears, remember there are a lot of bears.” Jackie didn’t get shot in the leg, she fell down a flight of stairs. The police are dealing with a shortage of cops by hiring retired cops? I don’t think so. It’s looking like Dan doesn’t have much of a case against Big Pharma. Understand Darlene’s concern about Mark, but what he’s doing is something he’s going to have to have to deal with himself and suffer the consequences. Why does Neville feel the need to work at the zoo? Don’t vets make a lot of money? I don’t believe Darlene and Neville went where they went about Mark. That scene with Dan and Becky was excellent. Becky was right. Can’t believe I just typed that. Zoe is looking more and more like her mom 20 years ago. She even sounds like Laurie. “Does interesting and challenging have to include coke and a crossbow?” Darlene really can’t stop Mark by kicking him out of the house. I understand Becky apologizing to Dan but she was still right. “If they had made the pills taste like broccoli, she would still be alive.” That tag with Becky and Neville was silly.

Season Seven, ep 4. Does Dan know what Mark is doing? I’m still not buying Jackie being rehired as a cop. Loved Darlene questioning the lawyer (Jane Lynch) putting it in the hypothetical. Glad to see Jay R Ferguson thought he had left the show. Riley the intern? Seems like they’re introducing a lot of new characters for the final season. “That’s the nicest way you’ve ever called me stupid.” Harris was subtle with Riley why didn’t she just give him a lap dance? Becky’s choice of glasses was terrible. I would never mention being an alcohol in a job interview voluntarily. Jackie was nuts with the lawyer. “Earlier he dropped a pie on a baby.” Did I miss in the previous episode that Chad (Seth Green) is married? Can’t believe Darlene acted so stupid with Chad’s wife. Don’t believe what that bartender said about Darlene. “Did you lose your balance when you tried to catch the fish?” Becky getting that job is kind of hard to believe.

Lecy and Sean no chemistry, like others have pointed out. Becky acts so urgh with Tyler like it cringe and desperate on both their parts. “My eyes are blue there like sapphires.” Bleh, she acts sicken sweet with him it gross. The fact she made him fly back from Paris because she couldn’t handle some comments. Giving him her entire check just like that when he says a joint account is best for them. Like god Becky how smart dumb did they make you in the Conners. I never got the vibe she is in love with Tyler her body language, her tone of voice with them and the way she tells her mom he’s a needy guy scream she slowly feud up with him but the writers just have to have her with a guy.
I wished they would have had her visit Mark’s grave. like seriously mark gets no mention no nothing in the final season when he was a big part of Becky’s life. David was also done so damm bad. Thankfully the show is done and we still have Roseanne to rewatch time and time again. Like that Lecy personally told the writers she didn’t want Becky to be Married off in the end. Also will forever love that if Glenn were around she could still see Becky and mark together and still in love.

Season Seven, Ep 5. "Wear something with cleavage, you might save a life." The timeline was really stupid in terms of the story, but was very funny. "The Conners just go from part of the house to the other." Loved Dan asking Mark to fix his electric bill. Cannot believe Jackie plans to turnin Mark. I'm kind of thrown by money coming into my account." I threw up in my mouth a little when Tyler mentioned he and Backy starting their lives together, Jackie's plan sounds like a way of tentrapping Mark. There's something fishy about Jackie's plkan and Mark's program, what happens when the police find out he's been hacking and they will find out. That fight with Mark and Darlene had me flashing back to Darlene wanting to go to school in Chicago and Roseanne didn't want her to go. Jackie with the rubber bands was funny. Can't believe she thinks she's going to get back on the force. I understand Louise's difficulty with this whole situation. "Tyler, my entirelife I've had nothing but used. Even my big wheel had a thousand miles on it." This money thing could be the end of Becky and Tyler. "Parenting 101 is you cannot stop your kids from makng mistakes." Lecy and Shawn do nothing for me, I'm glad there's only one episode left. I loved when Mark mentioned wearing dresses to school, I forgot he used to do that. Darlene saying goodbye to Mark reminded me of Roseanne saying goodbye to Becky when she and mark left for Minnesota. Louise is a great wife.

And now The Conners Series Finale. Fine teasm to create fake back hisotry for Jackie's very brief time as a police officer. "You know if you don't get on the force, maybe the insn=ane asylukm has a track team." I've totally forgotten about this boyfriend of Harris'...what's the point of bringing him back for the finale? I can pretend I have the TV, I did improv in college." After weeks of talking about this, now Jackie's having second thughts? That guy questioning Dan used to be on Glee...he used to play the PE teaching who was in love with Emma. Seth Green looks great with a beard. "For me, miserable is just a Tuesday." "Good, cause I think we're too close and I'm not comfortable with it anymore." I can't believe Dan won. IRL I don't think this would have happened. Loved Dan comparing his marriage to Louise to Godfather II. I'm glad Ben and Darlene made up before the show ended. "Why would text someone who's lying in bed next to me?" OK, they did give us a realistic ending to this disposition after all. The family talking to Roseanne's grave was a perfect way to end this series.
