My favorite thriller movie. The sequel comes ?

It's going to open on May 16th

Looks more digital and modern/generic than I would like, but I’m still watching it of course. Curious about hearing the first reactions to this…

While 5 already sorta kinda did it, I’m looking forward to how they’ll seemingly bind all the entries even more together in this one. But if it’s a bad film then it will also just ruin the other films more if this one messes too much with past storylines and reasonings for whatever happened.

You cheat death - it comes for you again. Simple idea that has worked through multiple films now. But if this one tries to overexplain it I’m not sure it’ll work for the better. The mystery is sort of key.

I like the angle. I positively hate that they show you how several of the kills will go down in the trailer, since the headfakes and feints about that are kind of the whole point of the franchise.

But trailers showing way too much is an industry-wide problem.

This is why I generally don’t watch them (yes, even when I post them)

My experience with the Final Destination films is that they're cheesy rather than scary.
