Thunderbolts

In 2024, when the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 5 ends, we will meet the hero/villain combination team called the Thunderbolts. At D23 this past weekend, the official line up was revealed and they are all made up of familiar faces:

• Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova/Black Widow II (from Black Widow)
• David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian (from Black Widow)
• Wyatt Russell as John Walker/USAgent (from The Falcon and Winter Soldier)
• Sebastian Stan as James "Bucky" Barnes/Winter Soldier (from plenty of MCU films)
• Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster (from Black Widow)
• Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost (from Ant-Man and the Wasp)
• Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine/The Contessa (from both BW and TF&WS)

Harrison Ford will play President Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross in the film replacing the late William Hurt. He will be doing this one after Captain America: New World Order.

Happy to see Florence Pugh back...don't know how I feel about Sentry being in this.

Don’t really care for this. Then again I don’t really care for much Marvel these days…

But I’ll follow along on the sidelines and if something peaks my interest I might jump back in. Perhaps only for one movie. But right now there’s not much for me in the MCU.

Based on how bad the scheduling is for April...this movie is going to make a billion dollars

They seem to be going for a Suicide Squad (2021) feel. Hopefully it turns out as good as that.

Looks terrible but I feel that way about all these. Also, isn't the asterisk like a giveaway that they're secretly some other evil team? If that's the case it's a lovely example of marketing yet again ruining a surprise.

Also how does Bucky have time away from his job as a Senator (snicker) to do this team-up?
