What a fantastic film. Taken’s got no reason to exist after this.

Having a Schrader moment.

It's the end of my music movie run and I'm ending it the way I started it, with Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley, both the hugest stars in this category, who kicked off the whole genre for popular music. I still have a few movies left in my queue but I will save them for later as tomorrow I'm changing direction. There were ups and downs while I explored this territory. I discovered some new things, fell into some traps, saw things I liked, things I didn't like. But overall, it was a charming positive experience.
