I use You Tube to watch music videos, meaning the platform has no real intrinsic value in and of itself for me with exclusive content of particular interest to me. I dont care much for the site at all and if it werent for those music videos I would never use their services.
That being said, those videos will still be available when the platform goes belly up and dies. As it stands right now, many artists have made their music videos available on iTunes for individual purchase but thats limited to the most popular artists with many old and obscure favorites missing in the catalog. The advantage of purchasing those videos is that you can download them repeatedly onto different devices and they come commercial-free.
I had an account with about 50 music videos and 300 songs but lost access to it, so, my advice is dont lose your logins.
