This new sitcom stars former SNL cast member Andy Samberg as a rogue police detective butting heads with his new no-nonsense supervisor, played straight-faced by Andre Braugher. The pilot was really funny, if they can keep the writing as solid as the pilot, this one has definite potential.

Solid start. I didn't laugh a ton at the pilot but comedies, even more than other types of shows, can take awhile to find their voices, So I'll gladly tough it out to see if this one does, largely because of its pedigree; not just Samberg and Braugher, who you mentioned, but because Parks and Recreation's Michael Schur is involved. That, incidentally, is one of the aforementioned shows that took a bit to figure out what it wanted to be.

Surprisingly, I laughed quite a bit. Probably gonna check a few more eppy's.

I couldn't agree more with you regarding PARKS AND RECREATION....didn't like it initially, but I think it's one of the top 3 funniest shows on prime time right now.

Do I dare bump a five year old thread to talk about my favorite show right now? Of course.
