Ashton Kutcher: Best Movie??

Tools

Ashton Kutcher is a great actor. He's gonna make it big one day. His work in The Butterfly Effect was tremendous. He can pull off serious roles, and comedic ones. He's an all around actor.

I don't think that Ashton Kutcher and the word Great belong in the same sentence together.

i never liked Ashton Kutcher's work, but i would say The Butterfly Effect was my favorite out of those comedies he did. Never saw a full episode of That 70's Show and never will and my least favorite flick of his would have to be My Boss's Daughter which is overall a horrible movie to even look at.

Seriously, I hope you aren't serious.

Randomly visiting for now
All those movies he's done previously "dude where's my car" and "my boss' daughter", I knew they would be really bad so I didn't even bother with them. He's not entirely bad in "that 70's show", but not great either. I think he did a pretty good job on the Butterfly effect and thinking back I can't think of an aspiring actor who could do better and still bring the hoards of teenie-boppers (+$). The raw intensity and emotion that is the Butterfly Effect makes up for any inadequate acting anyway, I didn't even consider that his acting was bad but not really good either so overall he did all he needed to (definately best effort so far).

My favorite is The Butterfly Effect. I think he did a pretty good job.

As for those who say Ashton can't act, maybe he isn't such a "perfect actor"....but I agree with r3port3r66 that he needs a better agent and such.

And especially to say that he is a bad actor, or that he sucks (whatever) is a pure understatement.

His best i think was Butterfly Effect and it was one of my favorite movies

his worst however was My Boss's Daughter

He couldn't carry a germ, let alone a motion picture.

I'm not a huge fan of his acting..... and I'm not saying he's bad. I just think that he should keep up the comedy roles...

Ashton Kutcher's drama acting SUCKS big time. He's a funny lunkhead in Dude Where's My Car?, a brainless idiot in Cheaper By the Dozen (and those were the one I liked!), and I have refused to watch any of his other movies.

And then I watched Butterfly Effect. Mistake on my part. Father, forgive me, for I have sinned. Wash me from the filth I have degraded myself too..

I shouldnt even digress into a rage-filled rant. It would be unbecoming in such genteel company. But let me say this: a better man should have played that part--a more skilled man, a man capable of conveying deep emotions on screen. Add THAT one to his wish list, and with a few more acting classes, possibly talking Demi Moore into spending "work-related" time training him to act better, and maybe, just MAYBE, we'll get a present come Christmas, (yeah right)

Anyway. I did emjoy Punk'd when it was on. Pure stupidity, and made for laughs. Yep. That's right up Ashton's alley.

EDIT: Simply because I would be remiss if I forgot to admit that the man is still a delicious piece of eye candy. I did like the retro clothes worn by the first version of him in college (the "real" version, imo). And frankly, if all psychologists look like that, I need to schedule an appointment posthaste!
