Movies that conflict you

I saw a comment from a friend on Facebook that made me want to watch 47 Meters Down, so I watched the trailer. Instantly felt conflicted. I like that it's deep waters scary material as I find the depths of the ocean scary (wonderful too, but mostly scary af) but this appears to be another "great white big bad" shark flick. I kind of like those because I keep wanting to chase the feeling Jaws gave me when I was a child. But that book and movie had an impact on sharks and Peter Benchley became a shark defender.

Why conflicted? Because people are stupid and movies like that just misinform the masses about the nature of sharks. It should just be fun, but people. I am conflicted because I'm like "WOOOOO shark movie!: and simultaneously "DAMMIT, shark movie."

I don't want this to become a discussion about nature conservation, just movies that make you feel conflicted in some way. I'll probably add more along the way but that's a start.

'Captain America: Civil War.' Just kidding, that Movie is overrated as f**k.

'Do The Right Thing' is a Great Example. You understand where certain characters from both races are coming from, yet you despise the violent acts they inflict upon one another.

You can't win an argument just by being right!
Sharknado. It's bad enough sharks are in the ocean but now they can fly? Give me a break. Can't go anywhere now.

I was conflicted as a young woman watching Bullitt. Should I kill Jacqueline Bisset now or later for sharing Steve McQueen's bed?

Soooo....how do you feel about Ali MacGraw?

I hated her. No, she was beautiful with a great figure.

I also hated Linda McCartney with a passion.

Not so much the "happy as long as my movie/tv boyfriend is happy" type then?

Hell no. Funny thing with Paul McCartney - at one time I was too young for him. Now I'm too old for him.

The Social Network - Zuckerberg was a prick for doing that under his partner's nose but at the same time I kinda don't feel too bad for the guy. After all the guy just fronted the starting capital for the venture and basically did nothing else. Wouldn't even label him as an investor as he always talked about contributing more to the site besides the start up money but never really did. I mean if he acted as solely an investor I could see why he would be pissed about not getting a check down the road. I'm only going by the movie's interpretation, not sure how much they changed things based off the real story but in this one it would be like if I gave my friend money for a new computer and other hardware to make a new video game. That's literally all I do though and think I'm a big part of it just because I provided some materials then the game goes on to become huge and I find out my friend did to me what Zuckerberg did. Sure, initial reaction would be anger but after awhile I'll come to terms with the fact I really didn't do much.
