Highly Rated Movies You Had To Turn Off

I used to always watch a movie all the way through, but I'm more selective now... There's only so much time, and I want something I'll love, and then in the future I could check it out. I think I'm better at evaluating, and I have many in the queue.

NEVERMIND lol i confused it with life is beautiful!
ive always thought that was its a wonderful life (thats what i get for scrolling through netflix and not really paying attention to the title)
turns out ive never seen its a wonderful life
. I know some others here don't like that either. Haven't seen it myself.

I switch movies off if I'm not in a mood for whatever any particular movie is offering. I might return to such movies later when I'm more suggestive towards their spirit or after I was persuaded by interesting recommendation. "The Big Lebowski" (1998) & "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013) are two movies I have totally reversed my opinion after initial negative preconceptions.

Trouble with a capital "T"
I wish I would have shut off The Big Lebowski (1998), but I watched that one to the end, another film where the tone of the film is set in the first 15 minutes and the rest of the movie follows that tone.
