Creepy not creeps. Though the Wicked Witch of the West was damn scary when I was a small child.

She's still is.
Margaret Hamilton was wonderfully creepy. And that laugh....Gahhhh!!
I'll get you my pretty. ehehehehehehehe.......

John Lithgow...in Cliffhanger. He's performance as a villian is what sticks out in this movie for me. I didn't realise how nasty the man from "3rd Rock from the Sun" could be. He's excellent!

Jason Isaacs...as Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets out did Alan Rickman. He has a great pair of evil eyes.

Jeremy Irons...creepy as a a bad, nasty good guy in The House of Spirits and Reversal of Fortune.

If you think his villianous performance in Cliffhanger was good, then you should see his movie Raising Cain.

I've never seen Raising Cain. Thanks for letting me know. I'll put that on my 'to see' list also.

What about the two Jacks... Jack Nicholson and Jack Palance... both of them are creepy...

well i cant believe Jack nicholson didnt make his first appearnace till the second page. In my opinion he is the creepiest villain actor out there. I mean the guy can't not look creepy (ahhh yes double negative very good then yes) not to mention insane.

Guys, Lithgow is silly in Cliffhanger and Raising Cain, and Richochet too for that matter. But if you want to be knocked over and creeped out by him as a villain, check out DePalma's Blow Out (which is DePalma's best film I think...and Raising Cain probably his worst). Blow Out is a great movie, with great work by Lithgow. Watch Blow Out, The World According to Garp, Terms of Endearment, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension and any two episodes of "3rd Rock from the Sun" some weekend and the range Lithgow exhibits will leave your mouth agape and your jaw on the floor.

I Love Blow-out, but I've always liked Raising Cain too. I've never thought his performance in it was silly, really, but actually quite good. The other two movies I don't care for all that much, though Ricochet was terrible, where Cliffhanger wasn't.

Definitely either Gary Oldman or Alan Rickman. Oldman's Drexal in True Romance is classic.

I would say Gary Oldman is a shoe in, but I find him to be the "creepiest" in The Professional.

ok. Just watched DUNE last night. And I reckon either the guy playing Baron Harkonnen, or his Mentat (who also appeared in X-Files) take the cake.

The Prison warden in Midnight Express was freaky too (another person Lynch decided was freaky. Hey...in fact...ANYONE IN A LYNCH MOVIE full stop!

Dennis Hopper plays some of the best sicko's of all time.
Paris Traut, Blue Velvet, pure evil!

How about Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs?

He isn't that creepy in Hannibal, and he was hardley in Red Dragon.

Evolution in Progress...
man i said it before... Christopher Walken...

go out all ye and see him in Things to do in Denver While your Dead...

he plays a crippled mob boss...great stuff

I don't think this clip warranted its own thread, but I wanted to share it, so excuse the sporadic bump:

My dad and I were talking about this today on our way home from Santa Cruz. Henry Fonda in Once Upon a Time in the West is one of the best villains ever.
