Miss Vicky's Loyal and Willing Slave
Am I the only one thinking this list ****ing sucks bigtime so far?

Guys, do the math: we all pick 25 movies. There are 100 movies on the list. 3/4ths of the films on the list are going to be things you didn't pick.
Yeah but there are films you didn't vote for that you'll be ok with. Back to the Future 2 for example; a lot of people are saying they didn't vote for it but that they were happy to see it here.It was the same thing with Rocky IV. It only just snuck onto the list and yet it got lots of people saying how they liked/loved it and should have voted for it. Contrasted to that however, outside of the three people who voted for them not many people are going to give a s*it about Visitor to a Museum for example.

If The Thing doesn't make the top 10, I will eat my own arse!
I can't decide whether I'd like to see that or not. Colour me intrigued!

That would be an intriguing yet highly disturbing spectacle, The Sci-Fi Slob. I take your word for that!

I don't. Video evidence will be required.

maybe you guys should try to, y'know, expand your horizons.
Well said! Personally I figure this is a chance to discover new stuff as much as anything else.

You lot could be on an olympic moaning team, I swear. May I remind you that a whole bunch of you voted to do 100 again, knowing full well that that meant movies at the bottom end of the list that you hadn't seen/heard of. Take it as an opportunity to, as FI no. 2 said, expand your horizons! That's what I'm trying to do.

Yeah, not everyone is happy to see BTTFII or Rocky IV here But, if the community votes for them then they are fully deserving.

I agree that people should take this as an opportunity to perhaps find something great rather than just reading a list of films they've already seen. Crazy I know, but I'm trying to actually watch the films I haven't seen that show up on this list

90. A Christmas Story

Before man was, war waited for him.
Very happy to see Spoorloos show up. I had it at #18 on my list. So that makes two films from my list thus far. And 11/22 seen so far.

Haven't seen The Vanishing or heard of it until now.

Christmas Vacation was number 10 on my list. I'm actually very pleasantly surprised to see it here, especially this high. It's always been my favorite National Lampoon's movie and Christmas just isn't Christmas without watching it at least once.

The Vanishing was one of the more underwhelming experiences I've had. I heard it was really creepy and scary and it was anything but. Kinda funny, but the atmosphere wasn't there. Maybe I'm yet another victim of expectations.

Exterminate all rational thought.
Nice pair! Xmas Vacation was 13 on my list. This movie is my youth at Christmas time. I absolutely love it. Spoorloos was on my shortlist and just missed making my 25. Really glad to see it show up though. Definitely a creepy suspense thriller. Yay! Best 2 so far for me

15/22 seen
1/25 from my list
