Michael Richards became "Kramer" in that movie... I think... my timing may be off. I do remember laughing uncontrollably at the sheer spoofism involved, though.

Heck, yeah. I've been a Weird Al fan since before he had a recording contract (via Dr. Demento, when he'd send in tapes he made in his bedroom). Seen him live about half a dozen times, met him a few times as well.
So, when he came out with a MOVIE, wellllll, hey, had to bring the camera and have my friend take a pic of me in the lobby! (And yes, I did get looked at funny when the flash went off.)
I have no life.

i love the bit when frankenstein is leaving for the train and elizabeth is saying 'the hair! the nails! the dress!' so the dont kiss or hug they just touch elbows lol.
the fact that everytime the horses nay when frau blucher's name is mentioned too is hillarious.

all the naked gun films

scary movie - although some parts are just stupid some other parts are very funny and i have fond memories of laughing with my college friends in the cinema over scary movie two.

I loved Spaceballs, particulary the last scene.
I doubt anyone would have it in their top ten but there is also 'Transylvania 6500' and there are some of the 'Carry On' movies. One of their better takes being 'Carry On Screaming'.
Mustn't forget 'Austin Powers'. The ultimate Bond spoof.

I've always been a fan of the Naked Gun Series....but then again there are two or three of Mel Brook's films that could top my list......I'm not sure any more......help.......
I'd probably still stick with Casino Royale.....I love that film.....but there are two Brooks films.....well....I'm torn in a big way right now....I'll get back to this later.....

I Loved Spaceballs when i was younger. It was film that me and my brother used to watch over and over but i bought it on DVD last year and just didnt find it that funny. I wish i still did, but like the qoute above (from memory so sorry if its wrong) certain parts of it still make me laugh.
The best spoofs are the ones that are accurate to the flim and really make you laugh. i absoloutly love spoofs. My faves are -

and the TV kings of Spoofs - The Simpsons. Theyve done sooooo many flim spoofs and they always get it just right.

Then another blue creature emerges. This one limps, its leg is
hurt. It moves forward, DRAGGING its bad foot along the ground,
making NOISE.
EVERYONE: Awwww..... It's hurt...
Gwen rises up a little, tentatively waving at Limpy...
GWEN: Hi!... Hi there little guy...
Guy PUSHES her down behind the rock before the creatures notice.
GUY: Jesus, didn't ANY of you watch the show!?
The BLUE CHILDREN turn toward Limpy, and begin whispering in an
alien tongue...
ALIEN CHILDREN: Gorignak... Gorignak.... Nak nak!
GWEN: Aw, look. They're helping the hurt one...
Indeed the others move to the hurt creature, cocking their heads
to the side empathetically...
Then suddenly we see the aliens SMILE with SHARP RAZOR TEETH,
their mouths SPREADING OUT IMPOSSIBLY ON THEIR FACES. They
DESCEND on LIMPY, ripping him apart. We only see a GEYSER OF
BLOOD from the center of the blue circle.... Our group is
silent, horrified.
GUY: I am SO SICK of being right.
GWEN (stunned horror): Let's get out of here before one of those things kills guy.
i forgot about loaded weapon too...i love the bit when they go to that house and say to that guy 'here are our badges' and then as they flip open their wallets one of the badges flys out and kills him by pinning him to the wall by the throat lol. they walk away oblivious. and the part when one of them gets savaged by the dog lol.

I hear the third will have them taking the piss out of disabled people, this isnt humour, its sad! Is there a lower form of wit?

Something I've found (at least for myself) is that a spoof, or comedy movie, needs to have at least some semblance of a story to it. There doesn't have to be a great story, but a story none the less. Its been there with all the spoofs that I liked.
Spaceballs
Blazing Saddles
Airplane
Naked Gun
Top Secret
Hot Shots
Wrongfully Accused
Some stories are predictable, some rip offs of others, but there was at least SOMETHING holding the movie together...which is something that was missing from Scary movie one. (They even made a joke about it....)
