Between the bulk of avatars I use, desktops I post that I use, backgrounds I use on my sites, clothes I post that I wear, to even the thread on wild animals we are compared to, I think it is pretty obvious what my favorite color is.

Anyone who has seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) at least twice will get it. Apparently that doesn't include you, but it's hardly the most obscure or inside reference one could come up with. I mean it's easily one of the most oft-quoted movies among moviegeeks, come on!

The Bridgekeeper (Gilliam) tells the knights as they approach, "Who would cross the Bridge of Death must answer me these questions three, ere the other side he see." The first two questions are the same for everybody: "What is your name?" and "What is your quest?". Lancelot (Cleese) goes first and his third question is "What is your favorite color?", which he answers correctly and passes. Sir Robin (Idle) goes second and gets "What is the capital of Assyria?" for his third, and is killed. Galahad (Palin) is next, and he gets "What is your favorite color?" again, but he answers incorrectly and is killed. Arthur (Chapman) is next and he gets the 'air-speed velocty of an unladen swallow' poser, which is a call back to the opening scene of the film. But Arthur has a follow-up for the Bridgekeeper, "What do you mean? An African or European swallow?" to which the Bridgekeep replies, "Huh? I...I don't know that", and then he is killed and Arthur and Bedevere (Jones) pass. "Well, you have to know these things when you're a King, you know."



But...you know. Nothing, really.

Sadly, pink isn't on this list. Pink should have been an option. I don't know why I picked "silver" over pink, but at least it's one person's favorite color.

Red, Black, Purple, and Green are my favorites... and it depends on the mood I'm in as to which one, if asked, I would pick ....

hehe Yep, my favorite color is black, but depending on what we are talking about, it can change. I love browns, and fall colors for my home. For the most part, anyway. I love dark blue vehicles, and I look like hell in red, and/or green. My wardrobe is a lot of black, but I do have some light colors in it. Way back, when I first got on-line, a lot of people assumed I was goth. Until they saw my picture, anyway.
You'll know my mood by the type of music I am listening to, or the type of film I am watching.

I've always preferred a Whiter shade of Pale, but as this isn't an option I suppose I'll have to go with Periwinkle Blue. What? No Periwinkle Blue? Damn, I really wanted to get this right so I could win the car.

I actually feel the same way about those same colors. I choose red in this poll, but sometimes I really like green and purple. My cell phone case is green. Black is my favorite NON color.

I said green for the martians. I also liked multicolors too.
