You can't make a rainbow without a little rain.
Wow! you guys watched a lot of 2016 movies, I feel like the underachiever here....so far I've seen 17.

You've watched more 2016 movies than I have. I think I'm up to 5 so far.

Star Trek Beyond
X-Men: Apocalypse
Finding Dory
Zootopia
Deadpool

That's it?....I have Swiss Army Man to watch, which will bring me up to 18. Then I have these in my Netflix DVD queue.

Sully
Arrival...releases 2/14/2017
Hacksaw Ridge...releases 2/22/2017
Allied...releases 2/28/2017

I doubt I can watch Allied in time. You might like Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016), I reviewed that one recently.

Yes, that's it. And that's only because I went on a spending spree on Black Friday. There aren't many movies from 2016 that even look interesting to me. (The only movie from 2016 that I'm really looking forward to is La La Land.) I'd rather focus on movies for the sci-fi list and the upcoming 1940's list.

That's understandable. I don't buy any movies myself. They all come from the library and Netflix, so that's why I have a waiting period to see some. But...I just added another 2016 movie The Dressmaker.

I'm looking forward to getting back to my first cinema love, classic Hollywood. The 40s should be great.

I need more 2016 movies for my Netflix DVD queue.

Cricket, you know my film taste by now, is there any of those 2016 movies that you think I would like?
I know I'm not Cricket but for you I would recommend Allied, Light Between Oceans, The Founder, Hidden Figures, and Arrival. Good chance you like Moonlight as well.

Not really

Edge of Seventeen is a damn good movie, despite its coming of age cliches.

Thanks guys! this thread has really found me some good 2016 movies to watch. I'm glad Usual Suspect does the MoFo Film Awards for us

So I just looked up those movies from urkillinmesmalls and sean.

I hadn't heard of Light Between Oceans..sounds great so I just added it to my queue. I added The Founder..too, that also sounds interesting.

I already had these in my queue but it's good to know they are liked.
Hidden Figures
Arrival
Allied

I probably will see these at some time too:
Moonlight
Edge of Seventeen
