[i]Poltergeist[/i] is a film I can watch again and again, and it will remain just as scary—and just as good—each and every time.

...I wonder if some of the reviews I read were unduly charitable because they expected from the 'small town man gets sex-doll girlfriend' premise that it would be much worse.

If you like things like bad acting, unrealistic effects and a means for merchandising at every turn, this might just be your movie.

It doesn't look like a good film. I hadn't heard good things about it. But it was better than I expected it to be.

I would recommend this movie for the sheer creepiness factor.

I can't stop recommending this film. It's what the movies and film and cinema is all about. I wish I could watch it everyday for the rest of my life.

Worth watching to see Goldblum but thats all.

I ask Van Damme fans to check this one out, if you haven't already. Even more though, I'm reaching out to those who don't really care for him to see this one too. You might be surprised, this is a really good film.

The film is a drama about relationships at the core and for one that covers so much ground and concentrates on so many different characters , it pulls this impossibly grand scheme off and dissects comedy itself along the way.
