Juno is a film about a girl named Juno (played by Ellen Page), who got pregnant by her best friend Paulie Bleeker (played by Michael Cera).

You get the feeling that she has heavily researched the issue of teenage pregnancies as she helps the character of Juno feel 'real'.

What I didn't like is the way Juno pretty much shut the father out of her initial decision-making and the relationship that develops between Juno and Mark really had me squirming...I knew it was wrong for Juno to be getting this close to Mark; on other hand, it was also clear to me early on that Mar...

This is a movie generated by it's performances , everyone is great - but it feels light as feather throughout the entire thing. Even if the themes it tries to explore are some of the most vast of all.

I'm not sure if [I]Juno[/I] really captured something [I]special[/I] but it certainly got plenty of feathers ruffled along with soap boxes dusted off and even some high horses fed.

Ellen Page is magnificent. Really carries the movie and turns a role that could be a bit campy, into one that is believable and sweet.

It's a nice movie, worth watching once at least, but I couldn't quite agree with the high ratings that it gets wherever I look. Then again, as I've stated, it's not really my kind of movie so liking it at all probably means something.

It is an entertaining film that takes a look at a tabboo in society, and it does so with a very well written story.

Starring Ellen Page as the title character, the film opens with Juno drinking heavily from a jug of orange juice in order to take a home pregnancy test; for the third time, we learn.

Fresh off from Superbad, Micheal Cera is also Oscar-worthy as Paulie Bleeker, the best friend to Juno, and is also the future dad of Juno Jr.
