While The Road Warrior has the most iconic production design for a post apocalyptic world, this movies design is probably the most accurate.

I guess I just found it interesting or something, but I can't even think of a time throughout the film that I felt especially interested, and none of it really felt new or original after watching The Walking Dead.

As horrific as the events in The Road are, the film is punctuated by equally agonizing flashbacks, to a time just before all hope had been lost.

The vast majority of the movie is watching people talk about being hungry, eating food, and exploring a very limited amount of dully colored landscapes.

Very rarely do we get to experience stories of this caliber or performances so fraught with emotions. With that in mind, do everything in your power to see this film, regardless of the toll it may take on you.
