Grown Ups 2 (Dennis Dugan)

The Funniest Film of The Decade

Adam Sandler has a successful career, we all know that. He doesn't need to do a film like this, but here it is. I for one, think I speak for everyone when I say; Thank You Mr. Sandler. you've not only entertained us for years, but you've given us the funniest comedy film of the last decade, with Grown Ups 2.

The boys are back, minus one, and they are diving more into the realities of fatherhood. The main theme here is family. It shines through with every scene. I was moved when Kevin James wanted to spend more time with his mother. It touched my heart when David Spade rose to the occasion and took in a son he never knew he had. Adam Sandler teaches life lessons to his kids, he is truly a great father figure. These are sprinkled in to give depth to the characters. It's brilliant that they did this because despite the film being utterly hilarious, it did need some character development. This film has that in david spades.

Sandler's usual comedy buddies show up here in small cameos. Hilarious. Every single freakin' one of them. More famous people pop up, like Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shaq himself. Both men should continue acting because they nailed their roles here. It's not just the boys having fun, the girls are equally funny and given more to do than just the "wife" roles. Hayek looks gorgeous and reveals she is pregnant. Plot Twist!!!!

Now, the comedy. My God the comedy. I was hurting from laughing so much. I almost had to go to the hospital for a hernia. Sandler is a comedy genius and with the all star cast of Chris Rock, Kevin James and David Spade behind you, you know you've got comedy gold. This film is the Citizen Kane of comedies. I'll say it right now, nothing in the last ten years holds a candle to the amount of laughs you'll have when you watch Grown Ups 2.

Do yourself a favour. Stop what you're doing. Find this movie. Find it right now, watch it and bask in its glory. Never in my entire freakin' life have I had this much fun. Animals pissing in Sandler's mouth? Check. Chris Rock making black jokes? Check. Kevin James fat jokes? Check. David Spade being ugly and short jokes? Check. This film has it all.

So, to summarize; everything stated above is a complete and utter lie.
