The rest of the movie is more of a mildly upbeat cop drama starring Eddie Murphy AS THE RENEGADE COP WITH NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE.

I haven't watched Beverly Hills Cop in about a decade and wasn't all that impressed with it the last time, but I think that I was definitely right to give it a second chance.
