Drive is about male beauty. The movie is really a woman's movie disguised as a rough and dirty violence and cars male movie..

Ryan Gosling plays The Drivers strong and silent type perfectly and with the scorpion embalmed jacket he evokes the use of the Scorpion and the Frog fable.

There's a driving sequence near the beginning of the film shot almost entirely from the inside of the car that completely blew my mind and was instantly one of my favorite scenes in any film.
