Nope, not a remake of the guilty pleasure straight to DVD Mark Decascos feature, but supposedly a new classic waiting in the wings. This one stars the brilliant Ryan Gosling in the lead as a former stunt driver turned wheel man for some bad mofos.

I will be seeing it immediately once it's released and give my verdict then. That should be in about a month's time

Christina Hendricks is in it, so I may well take a look. Not happy about those driving gloves, though.

Yep, she's definitely a bonus feature for us lads. If you check out the trailer there's a sexy shot of her working it with tight black jeans and high heels

Those gloves look horror movieish thinking about it now.

You neglected to mention that Nicholas Winding Refn is the director of this film which peaked my interest after watching Bronson. Speaking of this director, has anyone seen the Pusher trilogy? I'd love to watch it but it's not available in Netflix streaming.
