'Rush Hour 2' is not a better film than the first, but it is a very solid sequel that does everything a new entry should do in a movie series, but it doesn't explore much new ground or depart too far from the style and approach of the first film.

The first of two sequels for the Rush Hour series is almost as good as the original, which proves there was care taken.
