Death Proof
I can honestly say that this was not a good movie at all. The beginning was good, and then it took a turn for the worse.
I was prepared for a Grindhouse movie, not a Sex and the City girl talk.

Tarantinos endless love for grindhouse cinema has spawned a picture-perfect copy of the scratched up exploitation reels, coming from the dirty old floors of the local trivial cinemas.

Tarantino utilises a few tricks and techniques to try and visually grasp the feel of the grindhouse film; tricks like grainy film stock, scratches, reel jumps and clumsy editing.

Being a huge Kurt Russell fan, and something of a Tarantino sceptic (he hasn't made a truly great film since 'Jackie Brown' in my opinion) I've finally gotten round to 'Death Proof', and I'm unthrilled.
