4 So I finally watched Deliverance this morning...
It was brutal but really excellent. I do wonder where they cast that boy that played the banjo in the Dueling Banjos scene in the beginning. Pretty crazy....

Perfectly photographed and edited, excellently acted and tightly directed, this is one of Boorman's best movies, and in my opinion, one of the best movies ever made.

Sure the added dangers of dead bodies piling up create tension and logistical problems for our characters, but it was interesting to me to see how this movie has been known for one scene and one scene only for decades since its release.
