Quebec made movies anyone likes?

As it's my place of birth, I'll answer yes to my own question.
My favorite one is nominated INCENDIES which is very well done.

The thing that I'm sad about our movie industry is that even if our make up and prostetic artists are among the best of the planet, we DON'T have any horror movies made. And action à la american way done. Or very few.
Like LES PIEDS DANS L'VIDE.

Here it's Drama and Comedy oriented mostly.
Although we have an excellent parapsycological style list.
Like CADAVRES.

Any of you has ones from here you liked???
Curious... lol

Nice ones those are indeed.
In J'ai Tué Ma Mère the craziest scenes have got to be the various freak outs of the mother. In the car they were insane, both of them. Lovely performances.

Awww this is out this week.
And from what I've seen in the multiple trailers on our TV now, it looks nice enough.

The main actress is normally a singer. It's gonna be her first acting experience.
Looking foorward to see it.

She's got a very nice voice and her songs are very well done.
STÉPHANIE LAPOINTE-EAU SALÉE

They're doing an US remake of this one with the same director.
Vince Vaughn replaces Patrick Huard.

Decline Of The American Empire was amazing.
Awesome performances.

One that critics didn't like at all but that I really enjoyed is this one. Karine Vanasse is a great Quebecker actress. She was in the TV show Pan-Am.

^Indeed, H3LL yeah...

DAYS OF DARKNESS is great.
Another PHENOMENAL movie from well known director Denis Arcand and a TERRIFIC performance from Marc Labrèche, the main character. Diane Kruger [which I looove], Masha Grenon and Sylvie Léonard to name a few are good enough to satisfy me.
