How do I know how many rep points are awarded to a person when I rep them???


and how is that number decided?

I'm all confused about how the rep system works too, maybe I should find that thread. I think it was called 'user reputation feedback thread' or is it a different one?

I don't know the ratios of what results in what, but I think the contributing factors as to what your 'Reputation Worth' is are how long you've been at the site, how many posts you have and what your own reputation score is. Of those things, I'm not sure which is the most important, but I'm guessing time has a lot to do with it otherwise I probably wouldn't have a 13, which seems to be on the higher end of things.

Based on the information Yoda gave out..I've come up with the following conclusions as to what determines rep power...

It has to be number of posts....
because i have a relatively high reputation and medium to low number of posts...and my value is 4

minionTV has time under his belt (not alot), and lots of reputation...he has double the number posts as me..and his is only 2 points higher than me..

OG has lots of time...and lots of rep and lots of posts (but not a super duper amount)..and hes got a 13

wait a minute..i just confused myself into oblivion....
