I live in England, so naturally this movie was released only about a week ago. I did not know it was released in America such a large time span beforehand.

So noody2004 tell me is the last name Howard wery English? Some one told me it was.

great movie, jaime Foxx does well and tom cruise plays a great bad guy. loved the part with the kid moose. shooting it that different way makes it even better. can someone tell me what way it was shot i would love to know.

I got for good luck my black tooth.
Quite good, exciting if typical plot but rreally it is the acting and the characters that bring this movie up from good to great.

I don't know the answer to your question but your avatar has a sick sense of humour to it.....Just what i like.

Collateral marks Michael Mann's second miss in a row, although most of the fault probably lies with Stuart Beattie whose script relies on some very annoying and highly unlikely coincidences. Still, there were some good performances to keep it watchable until the embarassing conclusion.

The best of the five is featured in blue.

Yeah, I got that same feeling, that it was lacking something. Nevertheless, Tom Cruise shooting people made me chuckle.

I thought it was good- but i dont know why Foxx was in line to win an acting award for it... the acting wasnt academy award material at all

Not bad, i dont usually go for this type of movie, but in this case i was pleasantly surprised. I think Tom Cruise deserves the recognition here rather than Jaime foxx. Foxx was good... but i agree hartigan not worthy for academy award nomination.

collateral, is a kick ass!!!!! movie and who dosent like it, isent a fan of award winning actors, i mean what other movie dous tom cruise take out a gun and shoot someone cold blood, just because the guy dosent get something right about louis armstrong

I liked this movie and thought it was really well done but I agree with Cousin avi that it is Cruise who deserved the credit not Foxx for making this film what it was.

i agree to, cruise was the best part of the movie, foxx wasent bad, but when i first saw the movie i couldent belive what i was seeing.

Here to support the villians.......
Cruise was awesome in this movie, his best performance since Magnolia.

I'll vote yay for this one. I think it was one of last year's better films, not in my top 10 of the year, but definitely in the top 20. Cruise and Foxx work well together, although neither one gave revolutionary performances like so many were proclaiming. I really liked Cruise's character, especially his sense of humor. My favorite part of the film is when he tells Foxx he killed his father, but was just playing with his expectations of what a cold-hearted killer was supposed to say. I thought the dialogue was pretty good, I like the look that Mann gave it, and the film really had some suspenseful moments. Unfortunately, the ending got ludicrous and silly, but the majority of the movie clicked for me.
