Feel free to disagree. But my opinion still stands.

Missing out on what, may I ask? The movies they so-call "masterpiecez" like The Dark Knight? I don't think so.

The two best

The Dark Knight blows away expectations for super-hero movies and becomes an extremely iconic morality epic - while Wall-E provides a much more mature tone as well for the animated films genre (not to mention both have incredible visuals).

The Dark Knight

Wall-E

Be Kind Rewind

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull

Iron Man

Burn After Reading

Son of Ranbow

Cloverfield

Tropic Thunder

How was Be Kind Rewind? Any good? It's a Michael Gondry film after alls. I wonder if they nicked the idea from The Amanda Show, lol.

I am burdened with glorious purpose
Of course, you mean Iron Man w/o the 2, and Holds is joking about the Chihuahua and all the films immediately listed before it... Even so, your list resembles mine.
That's too funny! Why did I put a "2" in there? I guess I can't wait for the next one!

And boy, that Holden is such a jokester, isn't he?

Daffodil -- I loved Be Kind Rewind. I know some were disappointed in it, but I've seen it a few times (I bought it) and I think it's so incredibly sweet and funny.

I love all the In Bruges love around here. My favorite film of the year.

Iron man, Wall-E, The Dark Night, Wanted, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I can't think of anymore lol this year haven't been that great for movies.

Oh, I forgot Wild Child and Semi-Pro. Masterpieces.
You must be joking, that's one of the worst of the year.

I'm not old, you're just 12.
This my must see list
Ok, I was surprised to find out that You Don't Mess With The Zohan was actually really funny in a mel brooks sort of way, I.E. taking something inherently not funny (in this case, the conflict between Israel and Palestine) and making a rude farce out of it.

And I'm sorry, but the new James Bond is going to be awesome. Casino Royale was brilliant, and I'm hoping for the same level of quality.

Am I joking?

I was actually disappointed at that one. Probably Will Ferrell's worst (or one of).

I will see Be Kind Rewind. I guess some people were disappointed because it didn't live up to Eternal Sunshine? Maybe.

And yes, Quantum of Solace is going to rock.

In Bruges

Welcome to the human race...
Missing out on what, may I ask? The movies they so-call "masterpiecez" like The Dark Knight? I don't think so.
They're called masterpieces for a reason, you know.

I haven't seen many of the films that came out this year, I usually buy them when they're released on DVD - but my favourites would have to be.

Mamma Mia!
Baby Mama
27 Dresses
What Happens in Vegas
Wanted
Meet Dave
Definatley, Maybe

Overall, I think it's been a pretty good year for movie releases.

The following are some of my favourites for this year, separated between blockbusters and limited releases:

Blockbusters:

-The Dark Knight
-WALL-E
-Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
-Iron Man

Limited Releases:
-Passchendaele (currently only playing in Canadian theatres)
-Mongol (now on DVD)
-The Visitor (now on DVD)

The Dark Knight

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Appaloosa

The Dark Knight, Appaloosa, and Burn After Reading are Oscar worthy in my opinion.
