From what I've seen, Manhattan Murder Mystery would be my top pick.

Suspect's Reviews

All good people are asleep and dreaming.
As donniedarko pointed out there is already an existing thread. Since this one has quite a few responses, I'll merge it with the other thread.

In the future, please use the search function.

Love Annie Hall, Midnight in Paris and Hannah and Her Sisters. Like Crimes and Misdemeanors. Manhattan is just ok in my opinion.
I agree but without 'Midnight in Paris'.

Gangster Rap is Shakespeare for the Future
I agree but without 'Midnight in Paris'.
I was surprised when Midnight in Paris won best Original Screenplay (Well, not entirely, the academy basically forbids Foreign Language films from winning other categories nowadays, but I think A Separation deserved it). It was a good screenplay, but pales compared to Allen's other works. The Purple Rose of Cairo was a better journey into fantasy. I guess it was just a popular, safe choice.

Of the newer films, these three are my favorites:

1Sweet and Lowdown
2Match Point
3Cassandra's Dream
a distant fourth being 'Scoop'

Didn't much care for Midnight in Paris or Vicky Christina Barcelona

Wow, I really go back and forth on this subject, but I can narrow it down to four films:

MANHATTAN

HANNAH AND HER SISTERS

THE PURPLE ROSE OF CAIRO

DECONSTRUCTING HARRY

1. Midnight in Paris.
2. Take the money and run.
3. Vicky Christina Barcelona.

Annie Hall, Manhattan, could not finish. Others I haven't watched.

On the outside looking in.

@Skepsis: you should really see Crimes and Misdemeanors and Manhattan again. Especially the latter one rewards rewatches, in my opinion.

EDIT: Just watched Zelig and added it. Great film!

1. Annie Hall ("Hey, don't knock masturbation! It's sex with someone I love.")

2. Crimes and Misdemeanors ("Last time I was inside a woman was when I visited the Statue of Liberty.")

3. Hannah and Her Sisters ("How the hell do I know why there were Nazis? I don't know how the can opener works!")

4. Manhattan ("I can't express anger. That's one of the problems I have. I grow a tumor instead.")

5. Zelig ("My deepest apology goes to the Trochman family in Detroit. I...I never delivered a baby before in my life, and I... I just thought that ice tongs was the way to do it.")

6. Purple Rose of Cairo ("No! No! Don't turn the projector off! No! No! It gets black and we disappear!")

7. Take the Money and Run ("Nobody wears beige to a bank robbery!")

8. Broadway Danny Rose (" It's very important to be guilty. I'm guilty all the time and I never did anything.")

9. Play it Again, Sam (" I wonder if she actually had an orgasm in the two years we were married, or did she fake it that night?")

10. Sleeper ("My brain? It's my second favorite organ!")
