The MoFo Top 100 of the Eighties

Egotistical much? You helped introduce me to ONE movie from that list. Your vote gave it a significant number of points, without which it wouldn't have made the list. But its placement on the list wasn't the only thing that convinced me to actually watch Hedwig. The real deciding factor came when both mark F and honeykid recommended it.

In any case, glad this one's gonna be another top 100. It'll be awhile before I submit a list though. I need to do some watching and some thinking.

I definitely want it to be 100, Skepsis. That's pretty much the only chance I have of getting any of my choices on the list. Also, I'm pretty sure I'll dislike most of the top 25.

Earth Girls Are Easy is ok, 80's crap. Of course, I saw it back in the 80's so it was just ok crap back then. It was something my sister always liked, along with Who's That Girl? and Modern Girls.




I have to admit to quite liking Modern Girls, too. Mainly for Daphne Zuniga and Virginia Madsen.

I can't wait for this. This time i'm going to use all the time i've got to watch as many films as i can. Can i suggest a film that otherwise might get overlooked The Changeling (1980) . Who knows maybe no one will like it, but it's personally one of my fav Horrors.
