Miss Vicky's Loyal and Willing Slave
Had been wondering when you were going to start this back up Tyler. Anyway I love Se7en and Toy Story 3. I loved The Warriors when I watched it the first time a year or two ago but rewatched it a month or so ago and didn't quite hit the same heights. Still very enjoyable though. Temple of Doom is by far my least favourite of the original trilogy of films but still fun.

And then there's The Big Lebowski. Ever since I joined this board I feel I've been saying how I don't get Lebowski but that I'd need to watch it again someday. Well I did a few months back (which reminds me I've had a bunch of my micro musings kicking about for months) and it's pretty much the same story. I enjoyed it well enough (more than the first time probably) but still don't quite get why it's so loved by everyone on this board except me.

Love Seven. Big Lebowski & Toy Story 3 are very good. Temple of Doom is good and the best Indiana Jones movie.

For some reason I've always thought The Warriors looked bad so never watched it but it shows on a few top 100 lists so I should give it a go.

+1 for too many films to mention, but out of that last set every one except Toy Story 3 which i haven't seen yet. Especially for Temple of Doom, which is my fav Indiana Jones film.

Good whiskey make jackrabbit slap de bear.
15. Toy Story (1995)

The film that started the world's greatest trilogy. For all the Godfathers and Star Wars and Mighty Ducks, the Toy Story films are the greatest set of three ever committed to celluloid, and the first chapter kicks things off to a brilliant start, an immensely exciting and deliriously enjoyable thrill ride with fun characters and ample development of them. Pretty impressive for an animated film about toys that talk.

14. The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers (2002)

The only other trilogy that comes close to matching the Toy Story films is this one, which is three movies about walking to a f--king volcano. But a walk it is. The Two Towers, the middle child, is structurally the weakest, with long stretches of disengaging, muddled development, but even with these problems, it's still a breathtaking, beautiful and meticulously made epic, with some of the most impressive battle sequences ever seen.

13. Boogie Nights (1997)

This always clashes with Magnolia for the title of Paul Thomas Anderson's masterpiece, and at the moment, it's on the losing side. But both films just reinforce just how much of a great filmmaker PTA is, as with Boogie Nights, he offers an incredible, involving look at the family dynamic that exists for certain members of the pornography industry. And Mark Wahlberg knocks it out of the park (something I thought I would never say).

12. The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King (2003)

The sheer scale of this film is monumental. This stands as one of the most impressive examples of fantasy filmmaking. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but one can't argue with the attention to detail and satisfying eye candy that Peter Jackson has delivered. An awesome experience.

11. The Rock (1996)

I love action films. I grew up watching them and I still watch them to this very day. When I say this is quite possibly the greatest action film ever made, know that it is greater than the hundreds of other action films I've seen and pretty much greater than every other movie I have ever seen, save ten that just scrape by. Directed by America's sweetheart, Michael Bay, it is just an embodiment of what makes action films great. It's pacing is perfect, it's script is engaging, it's leads are the greatest duo in action history, it's director knows what works and has total dedication to the aim of entertaining the film's audience. Which he does.

I need to go and watch this film again.

Must be doin sumthin right
When The Rock plays it straight I like things about it but in any moment or aside where Michael Bay's personality or sense of humor gets injected into it it makes me wanna barf. Self-Serious and Oh Snap Look at These Dutch Angles and 360 Shots and Dumb Michael Bay > Lol Just Havin A Good Time Out There and All Right I'm Gonna Give You My Take On Women Now and Dumb Michael Bay

Well, Boogie Nights is my favourite film of all time, then I love Lord of the Rings and Toy Story (as you know). The Rock is a really good action film, weird how it is a Bay film, although I need to see it again.

Loved Boogie Nights. I really should watch that again sometime. Toy Story is ok for an hour but then I lose interest and The Rock must have something about it because it stars both Nic Cage and Sean Connery and yet I liked it.

Big for Toy Story, The Rock and of course the Lord of the Rings films there. Boogie Nights was decent but just didn't warm to it at all really

Great set. Really love Toy Story and all 3 LOTR movies!
