One of Britain's best loved actors, John Mills, died at the weekend aged 97.
He starred in over 100 films, his best known including Ice Cold In Alex, The Colditz Story, Scott Of The Antarctic, Hobson's Choice and Great Expectations. I remember him most recently in Branagh's Hamlet (1996).
Mills won the Academy Award in 1971 for his performance in Ryan's Daughter.
RIP Sir John.
