Because I waited with enormous anticipation to see it, saw the movie in the theatre, bought the DVD, and even bought the soundtrack (original score - which I still haven't played yet, I just have it) for a mere $3 at a closing Tower Records, I am proud that Basic Instinct 2 scored so many nominations.

I think it's a bad movie... but because it'll never happen again (I imagine they won't make another sequel, at least one to be released theatrically) Basic Instinct 2 was probably my best moviegoing experience of 2006. Shame some jerk's blinking Bluetooth kept distracting me from that onscreen couple of Sharon's.

Seems to be the same 5 throughout. At least they were consistantly bad.

Little Man was a crime against cinema and deserves every award it gets.

Agreed. Although, it was certainly not in the running for best...um..anything, I wouldn't say it's in any "worst" categories...

I guess it's just an easy target, because by Shyamalan standards (as set by his previous films), it should have been MUCH better, but wasn't. I might not have put it in the bottom five, but it certainly was for me a major disappointment.

Yeah, I just saw it recently, and, having heard so many terrible things about it, found myself thinking isn't wasn't as bad as I had heard... Still pretty rough, mind you, don't get me wrong...

Maybe after another Razzy nomination, Jessica Simpson will stay away from films and concentrate on her lagging singing career. This girl can't act to save her life. the only talent she has is her voice and whatever producer is telling her to sing like a porn star better stop because it sucks!
