Round 1
Johnny Mathis - 99 Miles From LA - I don't think I've heard this before, but it instantly worked on me. After about a minute or so I was thinking I might have this above my own choice. Which is the only one I knew I knew before listening.
Wolf Alice - Blush - I've only recently found this band and haven't listened to much, but this grabbed me straight away. Even if it's the only song of theirs I end up really liking, I know it'll be around for a long time with me now. If you do like this, I'd also recommend Moaning Lisa Smile. That's the other one I thought of using but went with this one.
ELECTRIC YOUTH - Tomorrow - I liked this but it's one note and outstayed its welcome. Had it been a couple of minutes shorter I'd probably think better of it.
Slipknot - Unsainted - I think I have this so high because a lot of this round was quite mellow and, well, I've just had a really rough few days.
Beethoven - Choral Symphony, End of Mvt. 4 - It's Beethoven. He does big and overblown really well. The rest is just... nice.
The James Gang - Walk Away - Pleasant, easy 70's listening with a hint of country.
Ludovico Einaudi - Nuvole Bianche - Is nice. Sounds like we all went for something pretty subdued and mellow.,
Martin Delray & Johnny Cash - Get Rhythm - It's country, but it's not really annoying. I wouldn't choose to listen to it, but that's OK.
Joshua Ray Walker - Lot Lizard - More country but not horrible. I think if I was in a better mood I might enjoy it a bit more.
Engage - Holy Diver - Even when I really liked Iron Maiden, those middle albums of the 80's weren't my favourites and part of that was because of this kind of thing. I thought it sounded like a Dio cover even before I found out it was. Just not my thing.
