There ratings may seem good but that’s because "Those people" show up in flocks to see them. Hollywoods missing out on much bigger market "the average American" they need more comedy Action and epic stories. And please no more skinny female dominate super spies saving the world Its so mindlessly fake they may be hot but they should just shut up and take there close off and let a man do the asskicking I mean get real(again not politically correct just my own opinion)

Watch the trailers, if it looks good go see it and do what you want, if it looks bad don't waste your time.

Bloodrayne is a perfect example of a bad trailer. That trailer made me NOT want to see it, I'm glad I didn't b/c my roommate saw it (not by choice, his girlfriend is a moron) and he said it was really bad.

And then there were two….

Thursday Next's Avatar
I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
Last night I went to see Manderlay and six people walked out. Which is quite a lot considering there were only nine in the audience...

Date Movie, would not recommend seeing unless they are paying you the admission fee. Still the $13 dollers isn't worth your time.

I would have walked out of Final Destination 3, but my buddy was there.

I actually thought that was a fair movie, the sound was broken while I was watching it though, so I barley heard anything.

I have walked out of movies twice. Once in Hulk, because I had to pee really bad, and in Anchorman, because I couldnt take the stupid dick jokes anylonger.

The Patriot..

Yeah, sequals are never as good as the first. I didnt find braveheart II []The Patriot[] as good as the first, and the running in slow motion with the American flag..how corney. But hey, I hear a lot of people liked Braveheart III []The Passion[] and why shouldnt they? I hear they just cut out the rest of Braveheart I and made the movie just a 2 hour long final scene of Braveheart.

The Death Of T.V.- The Real World.
The Death Of Horror -Jeepers Creepers
The Death Of Comedy- Friday
The Death Of Drama- The Titanic
The Death Of Action- Independance Day

I like this list. Any Ideas of the death of radio? Sci-fi? Literature? Romance? The English language , or any other genre?

I dont think there is any true "fantasy" classification in film. Fantasy has been mixed in with Sci-Fi. However, I will define it as its own class. Although Many Fantasy movies have came out in the past they have all been defined under sci-fi. However, with the introduction of Lord Of The Rings, Fantasy will probley get its own class and definition. So I will judge the lord of the rings as the first true "Fantasy" movie. And therefore, I also need to look no farther for its death, as it is almost certain that every fantasy movie from hench forth will be an almost exact copy of lotr. I have added two new death of catagorys to my research..

I think there are quite a few that were defined into the "fantasy" category. Legend, Willow, Dragonslayer, Dragonheart (ouch), come to mind.

Yes, there are 100's of fantasy movies. The ones you listed, as well as Krull, Kull, Conan which is action but based on fantasy, Gore, The Neverending story. But what im saying is if you go to a movie store, these movies arent in "Fantasy" they are in "Sci-Fi."

The Avengers.

Way to get all technical, im pretty sure we all knew what the guy ment... And is this Madman guy banned or did he just write that?

I walked out on one but my wife was really sick so it doesn't count

I believe in giving movies a fair go I saw Phantom of the Opera and me and my begrudgingly dragged along wife were the only two in the theatre. I don't care the movie was great the sound was phenomenal
