Who's your favorite actor/actress ?

Tools

I have no favorite actor's or actresses's at all but I want to give a shout out to Byung-Hun Lee, his performances in A Bittersweet life and I saw the devil were outsanding.

I've always felt Don Cheadle deserved way more recognition and great shout out to Mikkelsen @MovieGal, he's brilliant I've loved him in quite a few movies Adam's Apples and The Hunt just being 2 of them.

Ethan Hawke and Clint Eastwood are my two favorite male actors. As for the female leads that goes to Meg Ryan and Jennifer Aniston.
Surly you jest on the last two?

I never got the love for Kate Winslet. She's hardly a flexible actress is she? Plays the same type of character over and over.

Best actor at the moment is Michael Shannon
Best actress ever is Frances McDormand.

Harrison Ford
Morgan Freeman

Fave actors:
In terms of pure talent and balancing great material and a number of different roles
Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Jake Gylenhaal, Sam Rockwell, Russell Crowe, JGL, Tom Hanks.

Actresses (same criteria)
Julianne Moore, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lawrence, and new on list is Rooney Mara.

My favourite actors are AL PACINO and Robert DE NIRO.
In the last years they haven't good film.
My favourite Actresses is Jennifer Lawrence. She's very nice.

I am the Watcher in the Night
No doubt there's been a similar thread to this before, but what the hell.

My favorite is Anthony Hopkins. No matter what film he's in, even if the film is terrible, he always lights the screen with his presence. He's a brilliant actor.
Wouldn't say Hopkins is my fav but he always adds a certain level of gravitas to each role.

I'd go with Hanks as being the most versatile, De Niro has the most intense, Pacino second in terms of intensity and his late career resurgence has been beautiful to watch. Then there's Di Caprio who is fast become a true great of cinema, picking tough roles, roles that may make us hate him (Candy in Django) and yet still excelling.

Really like Tim Robbins too, a tad underrated and in terms of actresses, I reckon Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep are up there and out of the new gen, I can't help but love every role Jen Lawrence is in. I know she's the flavour of the month but she deserves it and has more acting chops than other actresses over the last 15 years or so...looking at you Diaz and Aniston

Edit:
Just wanted to add in Denzel Washington, he's BAD man, love almost every one of his roles, even when the movie he's in isn't good. And of course Ford, Indy and Han for life!

Male - Joseph Gordon Levitt/George Clooney
Female - Jennifer Lawrence

However the most naturally gifted actor I believe is Brad Pitt. He literally elevates any scene he is in. I just don't care for as many of his movies as JGL and Clooney.

As far as JLaw she is just getting started but is so so impressive. Not to mention just an absolutely kick ass girl with an irresistibly genuine personality. Who happens to be in my age bracket. I'm in love
