Gangster Rap is Shakespeare for the Future
Oh, that was impressive but you are being an ******* by bragging about your grades in a movie forum.

You should have answered: "by school I mean the university dormitory." Without any reference to your grades or your major.
Let me requote since you edited. I wouldn't have responded so harshly if it weren't for that initial statement that you made saying that I was just fooling around in school and that I'm part of the reason that the US is falling behind.

- Bluedeed says he's watching films at school.
- Guaporense says Chinese kids are studying and blames Bluedeed for not studying.
- Bluedeed says he does study and that he has good grades.
- Guaporense says good grades don't mean anything because the American school system gives good grades to everybody.
- Bluedeed defends himself by saying he scored way above average.
- Guaporense thinks Bluedeed is an *******.

LOL.

The US universities suffer from grade inflation. I know that because I am teaching undergrads and they advised me that students in the US always expect to get A's.

In all honesty Guapo, I would love to be in your class regardless of subject, because you would probably let us watch anime everyday, right? It's an excellent teaching tool, actually.

In the theater is always the best for me.

The Guy Who Sees Movies
My favorite is in a theater, hopefully one with well-behaved patrons. In that regard, we have a couple "art-houses" in town where the movie goers are good enough that I end up seeing a lot more indie and foreign films than I might just because the literate crowd, urbane environment and outdoor dining make the evening better than a mall cineplex that's overstocked with noisy people that need to check their texts every 50 seconds or so.

Next would be our downtown cineplex that happens to be in the basement level of a waterfront high-rise that has enough depth and structural steel to block cell phone signals. It helps the crowd focus on the movie.

After that, it's the mall, hopefully a loud enough blockbuster to drown out the crowd noise.

After that, it's the home theater in my basement man-cave with a blue ray disk - better sound than the theater, but I enjoy some sort of group experience.

I'll stream for convenience, but that's the worst viewing method.

Of course, the theater is the most desired option, but as already mentioned, going to the movies in today's day and age has become a very expensive night out. When I was a kid, I could buy the ticket, a box of popcorn and a large soda for a dollar.

Did they mop this floor with Dr. Pepper?!
I prefer to watch DVDs or bluerays while lounging on my own couch. That way I can be in complete control. I don't have to endure stupid comments from other movie watchers. I can eat what I please. It's just an all-around more enjoyable experience.
