Agreed on the first two, unconvinced on Cusack, he's OKAY in this film but nothing more, his character doesn't contribute much for me and is pretty disposable.

I didn't say Cusack is great in this. I just love him in general. Also Trejo makes a great convict because he actually is an ex-con. Not really a stretch.
