Regardless of how good or bad the scripting was... looking solely at the actor... who was the best Bat?

Multiple choices can be clicked if you're not sure which is your fave.

Lewis Wilson: 1943

Robert Lowery: 1949

Adam West: 1966

Michael Keaton: 1989 and 1992

Val Kilmer: 1995

George Clooney: 1997

Christian Bale: 2005, 2008 and 2012

Clooney was the worst.

Are we only voting for Batman or Batman/Bruce Wayne?

In any event, I went with the most popular three. Bale, Keaton and Kilmer.

Well, vote for the guy you think is the guy that did the best job at being the character.

I guess the 'character' is Bruce and the Bat.

Good whiskey make jackrabbit slap de bear.
Well, I thought Bale was the standout player in TDKR, so it's Bale for me.

I loved Michael Keaton's Bruce Wayne. But I really love Bale in the role as well. Both are alright as Batman, Keaton didn't have the physical menace that the role really calls for and Bale's gravelly voice is kind of irritating, but I think both nailed the Wayne character in their respective universes.

Apparently the creator of Batman loved Val Kilmer's portrayal the best out of all the guys who played Batman, leaving out Bale since he was not playing the role at the time.

For me it's Keaton.

Bale. Easily the best Batman, and possibly the best Bruce.

Michael Keaton is my favourite.

I also have a soft spot for Adam West's campy Batman. I mean lets be honest here Batman (1966) is and always will be the best Batman movie.

George Clooney could've been a perfect Bruce Wayne... He just needed a good Batman film to go along with him.
Honestly, I don't think any of the actors that portrayed Batman in the movies were bad..
George Clooney definitely could've been perfect, but Schumacher just had to have his fun.

Also Clooney probably had the most ridiculous costume.

Precious tritium is what makes this project go.
I loved Val Kilmer's Bruce Wayne, wasn't so hot on his Batman though.
