What are you listening to while you're MoFoin' it?
Apparently Roy Harper's on Later tonight, no doubt being patronised by a little boogie-woogie scrote. But still, it's Roy Harper.

The Mighty Fall-ah!
I think The Infotainment Scan is the best produced Fall record, which probably doesn't mean much considering the band's nature but never has mutant punk ska sounded richer.

Always prefered Krisma's (aka Chrisma) original to their 'Neue Version', and Hong Kong Counterfeit's cover.

The Velvet Underground - Sunday Morning
Nah, too literal.
Have some more Lou:
In my 'umble opinion, those are the best opening lines to an album -
Caught between the twisted stars
The plotted lines the faulty map
That brought Columbus to New York
Betwixt between the East and West
He calls on her wearing a leather vest
The earth squeals and shudders to a halt
A diamond crucifix in his ear
Is used to help ward off the fear
That he has left his soul in someone's rented car
Inside his pants he hides a mop
To clean the mess that he has dropped
Into the life of lithesome Juliette Bell
I'm never one who nods sagely along when someone (usually old enough to know better) says "But listen to the lyrics. maaaaan" but it's different with New York. The thing reads like a novella.
