Sci Fi Movie From my Past. Can't remember name?

First off, Hello!

I was really excited to find this forum because I'm always google'ing for days, weeks, months, years to find movies that used to play on TV when I was a kid. It never occurred to me that maybe there was a forum out there I could join, duh, heh.

So here goes. The movie I'm trying to think of is more sci-fi/horrorish.

There was this group of people in some sort of complex being chased by a monster. The monster had a probe like thing on his tongue that he would insert into the back of peoples head and where the spinal collum meets the skull. I coul'd of sworn he would said, "need endorphins" but turns out that was a whole other movie, featuring Dolf Lundgren.

I believe at the end of the movie the remaining survivors escape on a helicopter and believe they are safe, when the monster jumps from the ground way up high and grabs onto the landing rail of the helicopter.

Does anybody have any clue what the heck this movie was? It's been one of the few I haven't been able to hunt down. Thanks for your time!!!

Troy

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
When did you see it, how old are you, how old do you think it was at the time, and are there any other things you may have forgotten about it?

Umm, early 90's. HBO was the only movie channel we had. It was most likely on HBO due to the violence and what not.

I'm 25 now. We were in our first house and we lived in that house till 1997. I was in seventh grade when we moved, but I don't think it was around then. Possibly a couple years before. I know I wasn't super young then because I can remember sitting in the living room with my dad watching it.

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
You were about 10, watching it around 1995, so it must have come out no later than 1994. Does that seem about right? How did this tongue enter people's heads naturally? Were they really androids or some form of human slaves?

Yea for sure, your probably right about that. Sometime in grade school which is between 1990 and 1996. The humanoid monster, I think it looked fairly normal (maybe a little beefed up and mean looking, but generally human monster type), would stick out his tongue and shove it into the base of the skull in the back.

There was only one of them too.

Ah, no worries man. Nah, he would have NOOO clue haha. I appreciate your help though man, thanks a lot! I'll keep an eye out. Someday, I WILL, find this movie

We'll do our best and hopefully somebody will get back to you ASAP. If you remember anything, no matter how "silly", make sure you share it with us. It could help a lot.

No it didn't look like Ray Milland hah.

Thanks a lot Mark. So far what I've listed is all I remember. That scene at the end where he jumps incredibly high and grabs onto the helicopter sticks out the most.

Spinal Fluid Drainer in 70's Film

by BP

Does anyone remember an early 70's horror film where the villain(s) would stab people in the back with a ring and drain their spinal fluid?

"Scared to death" I think I got it... Finally!!!

That's actually a movie made after. Re uses the monster or whatever. I don't know if it qualifies as a sequel or not?

Dangit! I just found this movie online and watched it. Scared to Death wasn't the movie I was thinking of... I swear the monster in the movie I was thinking of used to say "I need endorphins" or "I need adrenaline." I found a Dolph Lundgren movie where he says "I need endorphins" and then a little thingy comes out of his fancy arm gear and shoots into their heads. What the heck. It's close but it wasn't the movie either. I'll never figure this one out :/

I thought I knew this, but I was thinking of the Dolph Lundgren movie also.

Hey guys, I'm bumping this thread. I've been doing some searching again and still havent found it but I've found movies with similar ideas. Brainiac 2004 and the original Brainiac 1962.

I'm wondering if it was a monster now or just some sort of mutant human with a crazy stabby tongue. I really wish I could figure this one out.

You can't win an argument just by being right!
